Medical marijuana might be a global phenomenon, but few places have embraced the industry as thoroughly as Southern California. That love of cannabis was on full display at the 2012 Kush Expo, held in July at the massive Anaheim Convention Center. Big Buds Mag hit up the expo with Cali grower Bryan Jordan to seek out the hottest innovations in the world of MMJ, from amazing new strains to the hottest devices to help you medicate.
Our first video clip spotlights some of the hottest find at Kush Expo 2012. Bryan talks to Sam May from Universal Hydro whose self-contained hydroponic and soil grow boxes can help even those missing a green thumb grow their favorite greens. We also test out the new Autospense medical marijuana dispensing machine, which will soon allow patients to access their medicine 24/7, and allow dispensaries to maintain perfect inventory and legal compliance in almost any MMJ state.
And it's not just growers who will benefit from al of the innovations on display. There was plenty for patients to get excited about, from Zang Cups (whose awesome bong-mug is perfect for "Rippin' and sipping.") To Vapor Penz, which are tapping into the hottest trend in inhaling right now, pen-sized vaporizers.
And of course, no cannabis gathering would be complete without some sexy stoner gals. Bryan hangs out with the lovely ladies from Pure Glass as they display their new collaboration with streetwear stars Crooks and Castles.
In our second clip, Bryan talks to Robert from Santa Ana's 4:19 Collective. These up and coming breeders went home with not one, not two, but THREE cups from the Kush Expo—Best Sativa, Best Indica and Best Hybrid. Having dominated the SoCal competition, will we soon see these up-and-coming breeders competing in international events like the High Times Cannabis Cup?
