Medical Marijuana Reality Show Coming To Discovery Channel
The show will also focus on the cultivation of the plant itself 
The Discovery Channel announced today that it will begin airing a reality show based on Oakland's Harborside Health Center, one of the oldest and largest medical marijuana dispensaries in the country.
The show, entitled "Weed Wars" will follow Harborside founder Steve DeAngelo and the staff of his two dispensaries in Oakland and San Jose. Of particular interest to growers, the show will also focus on the cultivation of the plant itself, "from seed germination to harvesting, profiling growers and farmers along the way," according to San Jose Mercury News.
No premiere date has been set, but you can be sure Big Buds Mag will be watching, and we are especially looking forward to hearing what growers think about the most mainstream look into our industry so far.
