If Elected President, Roseanne Barr Wants to Legalize Marijuana
If anyone can legalize marijuana in the United States, it’s Roseanne Barr. Running under the newly formed American Green Tea Party, and with zero political experience, she still manages to make more sense than most.
She discussed her political leanings on a recently aired Tonight Show with Jay Leno show.
“I am running for President of the United States ... I'm not for either party because they both suck and they're both a bunch of criminals,” said Roseanne.
Her platform centers on eliminating taxes, legalizing marijuana and doing away with money as means of payment for goods and services, instead relying on barter and farming as the main economic sources.
“The legalization of marijuana is number one – the end of all drug wars,” she told the late night host.
Whether it’s a publicity stunt to promote her new show, Roseanne’s Nuts, or a serious bid for political power, Rosanne Barr has certainly caught the attention of marijuana advocates nation-wide.
