New Year's Eve is a time of revelry and making resolutions for the coming year. Unfortunately, those resolutions rarely amount to any life-changing actions and often, the morning after the New Year's romp is nothing short of torture. So this year, ring in 2012 with a more honest and forgiving approach. Forget the weight loss and the insanity that is Times Square. Instead, do something that is both a resolution worth keeping and a better way to get festive.

The Los Angeles Canna Awards aim to honor the best in the field and the ceremony happens to fall on NYE. What medical marijuana party list would be complete without the eponymous medical marijuana rapper Snoop Dogg. He's playing in the land down under, at the Shore Thing Festival. Thought tickets are sold out, maybe if you stand close enough you'll get a waft of the music and something else.

Vancouver, BC:
So the last suggestion isn't really a party, but the shear amount of work and creativity this dispensary put into their holiday decorations is a worth a mention. The Vancouver Medicinal Cannabis Dispensary, of the Vancouver Dispensary society constructed a ginger-hash house made from Lebanese hash, Sweet Mountain Kief; and Bubba Kush Powder.
