NYC-based artist and designer Sal Fabbella is not a activist, he's just an artist with an interest in great type and illustration.
Fabbella wanted to experiment with old school graphics to create original artwork based on the cult classic film "Reefer Madness." He took his inspiration from the clean lines and images of dapper gentleman of the 30s and 40s and came up with "Grower Madness," a subversive version of the famed movie poster that had hundreds of parents reeling from propaganda-induced fear.
Substituting old slogan words like "The Smoke of Hell," Fabbella was able to focus on the plant's positive properties while still keeping the old aesthetics intact.
The poster is up for grabs for three lucky Big Buds readers! All you have to do is SHARE THIS PHOTO on Facebook!
We'll pick three winners at random on Friday, June 15th and send you the 11x17 posters.
Remember, this giveaway is simply because we think our readers are the best. Your questions, comments and appreciation of our material has helped us become the #1 Medical Marijuana site on the net! Needless to say, you are all awesome.
If you want to see more of Fabbella's work, follow him on Twitter at @SalFabbella.
(Sorry, we can only ship the posters to the US or Canada)
